Philip Green is a founding partner of
SG&S.
He was born in Berlin, Germany.
He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree (cum laude) from the University of California
at Santa Barbara in 1976, where he was also a member of Phi Beta Kappa, and his Juris Doctor
Degree from the University of California at Los Angeles in 1979, where he served as a comment editor on the UCLA Law Review.
He was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1979.
Mr. Green is a civil litigation attorney specializing in most aspects of business and real estate litigation.
For over 32 years, Mr. Green has practiced in Orange County representing individuals and entities that include
builders, developers, financial institutions, investors, subcontractors, brokers, mortgage companies,
homeowners' associations, property managers, investors, service and design professionals, retail
establishments, charities and media companies. He has been lead counsel in dozens of trials,
arbitrations and appeals and has a high, and documented, success rate in those cases. He has
handled hundreds of real estate and business litigation disputes, including contract, partnership,
corporate and limited liability company disputes, land use matters, landlord/tenant disputes, trust
and estates' litigation, foreclosure, collection and banking matters, and insurance litigation.
